Oliver is a composer and music producer working in all forms of media across film and television.

 

Oliver works with global brands on their advertising campaigns. His recent work includes composing the music for the Airwallex & McLaren Racing “What Next” campaign, featuring F1 World Champion Lando Norris, shown on Sky TV throughout the 2026 F1 season and globally on digital channels. Oliver composed the theme music to the Airwallex Podcast, in which McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown sat down to discuss his concepts of leadership.

 

In film, Oliver scored the psychological thriller Kismet Calling (2025), directed by Jude Bourne, taking an experimental approach in combining electronics and unusual sound sources with elements of traditional composition. Oliver’s moving orchestral score for The Foundling explored the complex relationship that exists between a mother and her child, featuring virtuoso violin soloist Tina Giu.

 

In contrast, Oliver’s score for stop-motion animated film Chef Gustav was an energetic blend of gypsy and big band jazz, achieving a nomination for Best Music at the Comedy Shorts Awards and winning Best Animation Short at the Filmic Festival 2026. Animated black comedy Wild Love further explored Oliver’s love for dynamic orchestral scores. In video games, Oliver created an immersive, dynamic score for virtual reality game Elemental Explorers, reflecting the dystopian vision of its creators.

 

Oliver enjoys drawing upon his broad musical experience, composing in diverse styles from orchestral and jazz to contemporary electronic music. He seeks to give every project a unique texture, finding ways to incorporate non-traditional sounds and field recordings, ensuring originality in all of his work.

 

Oliver was born in London and studied violin, piano and guitar from a young age, playing with orchestras and singing with a chamber choir. His passion for music led him to study for an undergraduate degree in Music Performance, studying jazz under John Wheatcroft and Femi Temowo, achieving a BMus First Class. Oliver earned his Masters in Composition of Music for Film & Television (Distinction) from the University of Bristol, studying under Professor Michael Ellison and renowned film composer William Goodchild. He became immersed in 20th century avant-garde musical styles, developing a strong musical voice and an affinity for orchestration.
 

Oliver spent many years as a busy performer and session musician, working with touring artists and bands on their live shows and studio recordings. Oliver has performed guitar and keyboards at London’s 02 Arena, Ronnie Scotts and major festivals throughout his career, both as a session player and with his own original projects. Oliver is a member of The Ivors.

 

Oliver is also the founder of Audiotown Music Academy, a music school offering high quality music education and instrumental lessons.
