The Foundling

This beautiful short film was produced as part of a series of eight films sharing the same six lines of dialogue. It is a period drama dealing with themes of parenthood, guilt and acceptance.

In 1920, a young baby is abandoned outside a circus caravan by his desperate mother, and the circus manager discovers that the baby is a ‘unicorn’ boy. Eighteen years later, the boy has become part of the circus ‘sideshow’, and has a brief and poignant reunion with his mother.
